Did you know that Flemish people are crazy about 'bokes'?
In Flanders, a boke is more than just a sandwich. It is an everyday, recognisable element of our Flemish cuisine and culture. Often topped with cheese, ham or chocolate spread, the sandwich symbolises simplicity and conviviality. From the lunchbox at school to the classics at grandma's house: a boke is a piece of food culture that connects generations.
A boke is dialect for sandwich. Chocolate Nation brings the iconic boke to life in chocolate form with the creation of the Bo'ke. The collection consists of four varieties: speculaas, chocolate sprinkles, jam and disco dip.
